Work Health and Safety Policy
At Parkour Adventures Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our clients, particularly children, during classes, training sessions, and out-of-work activities. Our policy is designed to protect and provide helpful guidance to our clients while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all. To achieve this, we have implemented the following principles:
1. Safety First:
- All staff members are trained in first aid and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of our clients at all times.
- All instructors have a DCSI (Department of Child Safety and Inclusion) and working with vulnerable persons check, and these are routinely maintained to uphold the highest standards of safety and care for our clients.
- Equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to meet safety standards, and any faulty equipment is immediately taken out of use until it is repaired or replaced.
2. Supervision and Guidance:
- Trained and qualified instructors will supervise all activities to ensure that clients, especially children, are guided and supported appropriately.
- Children will be grouped and supervised according to their age and skill level to provide them with the necessary attention and support.
3. Communication and Education:
- Clients and their guardians will be informed of safety rules and guidelines and are expected to adhere to them at all times.
- We will provide educational resources and guidance to ensure that our clients understand the importance of safety during classes and recreational activities.
4. Reporting and Feedback:
- Clients and staff are encouraged to report any potential hazards or concerns to leadership promptly.
- Feedback from clients and staff will be used to continually improve our safety measures and procedures.
5. Compliance and Enforcement:
- We are committed to helping our community and will work with clients to help them understand what they did, why we view it as against this policy, and what they can do to improve their lives. However, some breaches of this policy may result in a permanent ban from our facility.
- Non-compliance with safety rules and guidelines may result in the client being asked to leave the premises, as we take the safety of all our clients seriously.
We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all our clients, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain high standards of health and safety. If you have any questions or concerns about our work health and safety policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
